Juwan Adams was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in August 2016. He has learned to be vocal about his cancer and try to spread awareness about it. He has undergone many treatments, but is still in search of a stem cell donor match. Through his battle with HL, he has remained positive and achieved many great things such as being lieutenant of his school's marching band and being in the National Honors Society. He is also a big football fan. One of his biggest achievements is creating an annual toy and book drive on his birthday that donates to children at hospitals to help them stay positive through whatever fight they may be going through. He continues to spread awareness about the lack of minority individuals in the registry, but has been unable to find a match.
